Lower Seletar Reservoir is one of the 17 reservoirs in Singapore, opened in June 2010, located at Yishun. It is a pleasant place for leisure strolls or jogs. Benches are available along the edge of the reservoir which offer great spots for visitors to enjoy the turquoise waters and the balmy breeze.
In this reservoir, a lot of water activities can be carried out. These activities include kayaking and dragon-boat racing etc. There is also a beautiful scenery around the reservoir for people to enjoy while doing sport at the same time.
Lower Seletar Reservoir also has a lot of facilities which support the Active-Beautiful-Clean(ABC) water trail. These facilities include the Litter Trap, Heritage Deck, Fishing Jetty and Rain Garden. This ABC water trail provides a chance for students to explore and learn about Singapore's water resources and management as well as allow them to learn by observing changing environment, collecting information and drawing conclusions about our water quality.
