Viewing Deck

Upon reaching the Viewing Deck, we were awed by the beautiful scenery. The station master then told us to brainstorm on words that illustrate the concepts of '"Active" "Beautiful" and "Clean".

Active -Dragon boat racing, jogging, fishing, canoeing                                 

    Beautiful-Green, blue, scenery, relaxation

Clean- Unpolluted, clear, spotless, speckless                           
                                                  
                                                                                                                                   

We also wrote an ode highlighting the beauty of Lower Seletar Reservoir which also included our feelings and thoughts.

We also felt that the structure of the Heritage Deck's structure reminded us about fishing. We felt that the structure of the deck looks like a fishing net, thus fishing in the reservoir. We felt that the structure was built to resemble the past activity at Lower Seletar as settlers used to come her to fish and earn a living.
